Hooping the fabric:
The fabric on which you will be embroidering the applique has to be ironed well. Hoop the fabric very taut together with the stabilizer. Make sure that the hooped fabric does not have any wrinkles or is hooped loosely.
The exact position of the applique can be determined in advance by marking with chalk or water soluble pen.
To do this use the template provided with your embroidery frame. Hoop the fabric in a way hat the crosses marked on the fabric meet with the cross of the template.
Sometimes, the design requires that some design element be embroidered first, then the applique elements will be done. In this case here the leave stems are embroidered first.
The machine will embroider a placement shape for the fabric placement of the first applique.
Place the fabric over the outline and let the machine sew it onto the background fabric.
The machine stops each time between the sequences to give you a chance to change the thread color or to trim the applique fabric.
You can of course embroider all of those steps in one color. To do this you just have to press the go button on your machine after each stop without changing the thread.
Remove the frame from the machine but not the project from the frame and trim the applique fabric back close to the stitches.
The next outline will be embroidered. Follow the instructions above and trim the fabric as well.
Repeat the same steps so long until all of the applique pieces are done.
You are the designer. Use one fabric or as many as you want for the applique.
Now the machine will sew satin stitches around all of the applique pieces.
First, the machine will fixate the fabrics again with a zig- zag stitch...
...and then with the satin stitch.
At the very end, the machine will embroider the last details of the design.
