Baltimore Quiltblock Sampler 2

6x6", 7x7" and 8x8"

This is part 2 of our Baltimore Quilt.

Like every month we present you 6 different files: 2 mugrugs with scalloped edge, 2 mugrugs with straight edge and 2 quilting blocks.
There are always 2 design variants: one detailled quilted in uni color, and another, colored with applique that are quilted in addition.

With this embroidery file you can make these 6 cute quilting squares mugrugs or quilt blocks:

  • Mugrug with scalloped edges, sunflower applique and quilting lines
  • Mugrug with scalloped edges  and quilting lines in one color
  • Mugrug  square with sunflower applique and quilting lines
  • Mugrug  square with quilting lines in one color
  • Quiltblock with sunflower applique and quilting lines
  • Quiltblock with  quilting lines in one color

How they will look when finished, what the real size is and a lot of samples for Quiltings Squares by our testers can be found here.

The mugrugs are of course great table mats or doileys. You can use them for oven gloves as well.

The quilt blocks are great for pillow covers or even whole quilts, depending on the number of quilts you use. Sew together the equally sized blocks, or use the Quilt-As-You-Go method with fabric stripes between the blocks.

We offer the mugrugs in your desired hoop size 6x6", 7x7" an 8x8", or you opt for a discount package. Chose from the menu above.

We will issue over the next weeks and months other seasonal, time matching collections. So you can create a complete Baltimore Quilt. All in all there will be 12 collections.

Of course there is a detailled illustrated instruction in English and German attached.

You will need:

  • embroidery thread matching to the fabrics
  • Fabrics for the mugrugs
  • cut away embroidery stabilizer (like madeira web)
  • cotton fabrics
  • polyester batting  1-2“ thick, for oven gloves take Thermolam
