0. What does Stickbaer mean?

The German word "Stickbär" (see the German umlaut ä) means a bear who loves embroidery. As we are transcribing the "ä" to "ae" Stickbär is Stickbaer in English. Confusing? Sorry.

1. How do you register in the Stickbaer Shop?

By registering in the Stickbär Shop you get access to a customer account. In the customer account you will find
- your orders including invoices
- your purchased files of the last 5 years
- your vouchers

You can change password and mail address as usual. Was the payment unsuccessful, or you need to change from prepayment to another method? No problem.

Register by clicking on the small human icon in the upper right corner and "Login" or "... register". Now you can enter your data.

2. Login to Stickbaer-Shop

Click on the small human icon on the top right and select "Login". Enter your mail address and password on the left under "I am already a customer". On the top right a checkmark shows you that you are logged in. Have fun shopping!

3. What is a guest order?

For a guest order you do not need to register. Shopping is fast, especially when using Paypal to pay. In the store only für the payment necessary data are stored.

Your way führt you in the store either über the shopping cart or directly to the checkout. On the page "Shipping Information" you will find on the left under the name fields a checkbox "Do not create a customer account". If you activate it, only information about the purchase will be saved.

You will receive the download links to your files in an email. Keep this mail and the files well!

We recommend you to register and log in to the Stickbär store. Only then you can download your files for 5 years in the customer account.

4. How can I pay?

In the Stickbär store you can pay with different Möglichkeiten: Paypal, credit card, prepayment. Customers from Germany can also use SEPA-Überweisung and Giropay. Payment service provider is Paypal. Depending on the payment method you will be redirected to the pages of the service providers (such as Paypal or Giropay). After payment there, you return to the store.

5. How do I get my files?

First you receive an order confirmation from us. As soon as the payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with links to your files. You can download the files via the mail. If you bought as a registered customer you will find the links to the files in your customer account. The files are always in a ZIP file. 

6. What are ZIP files?

In addition to the files for your machine, the downloaded ZIP files may contain instructions, thread color and stitch tables. You will need to "unzip" the ZIP files. The Windows Explorer or the MacOS Finder support unpacking by double-clicking. Of course there are also special programs like WinRAR, 7-Zip or WinZip.

7. How to get the file into my embroidery machine?

We offer our files in common embroidery machine formats: art, dst, exp, pes, vp3, hus, jef. You will probably need to save the file in your format to a USB stick on your computer. Then insert it into the embroidery machine. Newer machines transfer the files via WLAN, older ones via floppy disk or cable. Read in any case in the manual of your embroidery machine after.

8. My embroidery machine shows other colors ...

Sometimes something does not go as planned when converting the files. No problem: In the ZIP file on your computer is also a "picture folder" in which each embroidery picture in the original and the used thread colors can be seen.
