With this charming embroidery file you can embroider two beautiful apples in a charming patchwork style. Since the apple stalk is a loop, you can use the finished apples as pot holders. Of course you can also hang them up in your kitchen.
The apples would also make a great mug rug or fall decoration.
You can use all your fabric scraps to make the striped apple because it uses very thin strips of fabric. The plain apple is sweetly quilted with a striped pattern and a little heart.
Thanks to our detailed, illustrated embroidery instructions, you will quickly and easily complete your apple love potholder.
Choose from three different hoop sizes. You can embroider two different apples in each size.

What you need:

  • Fabric for the front and back of the apple
  • Fabric scraps for stripes and leaves
  • Matching colored embroidery thread
  • soft, thin volume stabilizer (such as Hobbs Heirloom Cotton stabilizer)
  • Soft stabilizer for cutting
  • Cord or ribbon for hanging and apple stem

16x26cm + 18x30cm 6x10" + 7x12" With this embroidery file you can make 4 different oven mitts and heart pot holders. The are wonderfuly embroidered with roses and will for sure be the eye- catcher in your kitchen! They are not only pretty but of course useful. When using a heat resistant inlay like Thermolam you will have now problem in carrying hot pots or lids. The smaller gloves for the 16x26cm/6x10" hoop (Size 1) are for teenager and small to medium women's hand a good fit. The large gloves in Size 2 (hoop 18x30cm/7x12") fit all other sizes, even a man's hand has enough room in there! For sure our Rose Oven Gloves are perfect from the inside as from the outside.
