With this embroidery file you can embroider a practical and versatile bag for all your knitting utensils.
All your sock needles, circular needles, double points, ropes and stitch markers can be stored in the knitting bag, well organised and ready to hand.
An elastic band prevents needles from falling out.
The integrated side zip pocket holds scissors, needle gauges, stitch markers and more. The bag is neatly lined on the inside.
To store the bag, fold it up and press a button to close. So it can wait for its next use with the wool for your knitting project.
The embroidery file is designed for a 20x30cm hoop. The whole bag is embroidered in two hoops. All the steps are detailed in the step-by-step instructions, so embroidering the bag is very easy.
The finished bag measures 19x41cm (7 x 15") when unfolded and 19x14cm (7" x 5 1/2") when folded and closed.
What you need:
- Cotton fabrics, canvas or other non-stretch fabrics in different colors
- thin volume fleece (e.g. Hobbs Heirloom Quilting)
- embroidery thread in a color that matches
- soft tear-away stabilizer
- Plastic zipper 2.5 cm wide, approx. 25 cm long (final length 18 cm)
- 10 cm cord
- larger button, diameter approx. 1.5 cm
- Rubber band 35 cm long ( 1 cm thick)
- 2 small pieces of ribbon (5 cm each) for zipper pocket
