Little Autumn Cross Stitches

With this embroidery file, you can stitch five lovingly designed autumn cross stitch motifs with your embroidery machine.

Thanks to the special cross stitch technique, the motifs have a beautiful hand-stitched appearance. They are perfect for decorating linen, small zipper pouches, cushions, ornaments, little bags, sachets, and many other autumn sewing projects.

The set includes five different motifs:

All motifs fit into a 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 inch embroidery hoop and are intentionally kept small and not overly detailed. This makes them ideal for smaller projects and fabric scraps.

The cross stitch designs look especially beautiful on linen or cotton fabrics with a natural texture. For an especially authentic, hand-stitched look, we recommend using 30 wt cotton thread.

Because machine-embroidered cross stitch behaves a little differently from regular embroidery designs, each file also includes a detailed PDF with helpful tips for stitching cross stitch motifs with an embroidery machine. It includes important information about thread, needle choice, embroidery speed, stabilizer, thread tension, and other points that can help you achieve a beautiful result.

Tip

For a particularly beautiful, hand-stitched look, we recommend 30 wt cotton thread. Cotton thread is a little more delicate and produces more lint than regular embroidery thread, so it is best to embroider at a slower speed and clean the machine occasionally. We also recommend stitching a small test sample first and adjusting the needle, thread tension, and embroidery speed if necessary.
