With this embroidery file, you can create a bright and cheerful pennant chain for the summer.
Each of the 8 pennants is wonderfully stitched with lovely summer flowers.
Yarrow, dandelions, cornflowers, and lavender are all part of the mix, along with chamomile, daisies, and a big geranium flower.
On each and every pennant, you'll spot tiny bees, because summer just wouldn't be the same without them!
You'll need a 5x7" (13x18 cm) embroidery Hoop and some soft cotton or fine linen for your embroidery. Don't forget to grab some lovely colorful fabric scraps for the bottom part of the pennants and a matching bias binding that's about 2 meters long.
What you will need:
- Fabrics for the front and back (like linen or cotton)
- Fabric scrap for the bottom part of the pennant
- embroidery thread and stabilizer
- thin batting, ideally cotton like Hobbs Heirloom Quilting
- Sewing machine for attaching the individual pennants to the ribbon.
- about 2 meters (2 yard) of bias tape
