Dresden Plate Quilt

The ancient patchwork pattern "Dresden plate" traditionally is made by hand. It requires some expert knowledge. Many little petals are applied in circle around an inner circle. This results in a colorful and bloomy motif.
Using the embroidery machine it is much simpler and the result is still stunning. The detailed, enriched with many pictures step-by-step guidance in English and German will get you to an amazing results within few hours. In case you don't have the time for the pillow then start with the oven glove. It needs only one of the four middle parts. Using two blocks might create a great placemat.
You will find here 3 different patchwork blocks completely made in the hoop:
- squared inner part with 5 petals (you will need 4 of them and the applied circle for one Dresden plate)
- corner part with curve applique
- side part with curve applique
which can be combined into:
- large pillow
- place mat
- pottholder
- tablecloth, or if you are up to it even to
- a large quilt
By combining the pieces you can achieve many different patterns.
You will need the 5x7 hoop.

Even though you only need the 13x18cm (5x7”) hoop, you can make a 40x40cm (15x15”) pillow. Using the battings creates the plastic look.

This pretty flower patchwork pillow is made completely in the embroidery machine. Even the side panels and the rickrack as well as the envelope back of the pillow's cover are easily done in the hoop.
The appliqued flowers and leaves are done using a special faux trapunto method and look almost 3D.
Of course you can make this as a Mug Rug. For this you would applique the flowers and leaves as a standard applique so that the cup does not fall over.
The 3D applique is contained in each file as a bonus.

With this embroidery file you can make a wonderful cover for Quilting books, recipe books and other books in the size DINA5. A perfect present for your best friend or herself.
The cover has clean and hidden seams everywhere, it is lined and looks pretty on all sides.
This design is done completely in the hoop. The only thing that you have to close by hand is the opening for turning.
To complete this design you need a hoop at least 18x30cm (7x12") large. The notebooks or books that fit into the finished cover are 5,9" x 8,27" (15x21cm) large.

Mini Flower Table Runner

With this embroidery file, you can make a wonderful table runner. Of course you can use this design to create a Mug-Rug, Place Mat or a decorative runner for the windowsill.
The Table Runner looks as if you have spent hours of meticulous work on it, but all you have to do is to let the embroidery machine do all the work in about an hour. This whole project, including the borders is done in the hoop.
A very special, pretty detail is the folded zig- zag border on both short sides of the design. This part is optional and can be left out.
The pretty flowers in the middle of the Table Runner are appliquéd. You can add some hand stitches at the end if you like. This is what we did in our example.
This whole project is entirely done in the hoop with the exception of a small opening for turning which has to closed by hand.

Baby Bunny

Bunny Hoop size 5x7", Dress and Jacket 6x10"
With this embroidery file you can embroider and sew a cute 28 cm (11") bunny (measured without ears) including a pretty jacket and reversible dress.
All the tedious fiddling like copying and transferring the paper cut and sewing the mini parts is no longer necessary with this file, because the embroidery machine does all of this for you.
In the case of the Bunny, the individual parts are then joined together with hand stitches after filling with fiberfill. Of course, all of these steps are explained in detail in the 17-page instructions.
The dress is made of soft 1mm thick wool felt, lined with cotton and embroidered with tiny flowers. All you have to do is to close a turning opening and fasten the straps with mini buttons or a few stitches. The dress is fully lined and can be worn from both sides.
The wool felt jacket is also fully lined and embroidered with small flowers that look like they would grow out of the two patch pockets. Only the side seams are closed with the sewing machine and a button is sewn on.
You will need an embroidery hoop that is at least 13x18 cm (5x7") for the bunny and a hoop size of 16x26 cm (6x10") for the dress and the jacket.

Winibald for the 20x36cm (8x14“) hoop is approx. 55cm (22 “) tall, measured from the toes to the pointed cap.

For embroidering the arms and legs, a preparatory seam with the sewing machine is necessary, so if you use a combination machine, be sure to carry out these two steps beforehand.
Bunny Mom

The beautiful flower meadow with the adorable bunny appliqué can be embroidered in several sizes.
The bunny is always openwork, which means that the edges protrude a few millimetres. I have used wool felt here, which gives the rabbit an even cozier look. But regular fabric or plush would work just as well.
In the hoop size 5x7" you get 4 different embroidery designs, from the first 3 designs you can assemble the whole meadow, one after the other. The 4th design in this hoop size is a smaller "slimmed down" meadow with rabbits.
In the 6x10" and 7x12" hoop sizes you get a complete meadow with bunnies in the corresponding size.
